Okay so last time I brought you a recipe for some kick-ass Swedish pancakes and ya'll seemed to like it so today I'm bringing you another kick-ass recipe, Swedish meatballs. These are just classic meatballs, you can also spice them up with extra spices of your own.
-
What you will need for 4 people (Just the meatballs) :
1-2 dl of milk
5 tablespoons of breadcrumbs (Ströbröd in Swedish)
500 g of ground beef
Half an onion (Grated)
1 egg
1 teaspoon of salt
1 ml of black pepper
1/2 teaspoon of sugar
Some butter for frying them
-
Mix the milk and breadcrumbs, let them rise for 10 minutes.
Add the beef, the onion, egg, salt, pepper and sugar into the milk mix. Mix it well.

Next wet your hands with some cold water and start shaping the mix into nice balls. Start frying them a couple at a time in some butter until they get a real nice surface to them. Shake the pan every now and then to make sure the balls remain nice and round.

Serve with some mashed potatoes and lingonberry jam.
